At 45nm, eASIC Nextreme-2 family has transistor gate lengths that are significantly smaller than the 90nm eASIC Nextreme transistors thus enabling higher speed. This in combination with architectural enhancements, such as the elimination of LUT SRAM cells, enables eASIC Nextreme-2 to deliver a significant performance advantage compared to even high-speed grade FPGAs.
