eASIC Nextreme NEW ASICs are ideal for replacing low-density FPGAs. Performance depends on the design but is comparable to high speed-grade FPGAs at lower process-nodes. A full blown 32-bit processor such as Aeroflex Gaisler’s LEON4 operates at 200MHz when implemented in eASIC Nextreme. The table below summarizes some key performance metrics.
